Novak Djokovic will be the latest and very important addition to the Astana entry list. The Serbian legend will join Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas in the main draw of the prestigious ATP500 event.
Besides Novak, also Andy Murray, Alexander Bublik, and Stan Wawrinka obtained a wild card to play in the main draw.

Novak Djokovic in 2022
Ranked world no.7, the Serbian played his last match on the 10th of July when he beat world no.20 Nick Kyrgios 4-6 6-3 6-4 7-6(3) in the final in Wimbledon to win his 88th career title.
Presently, during this year Novak achieved a composed 23-5 match record. The Serbian clinched 2 titles in 2022 in Rome and Wimbledon. The Serbian got to the final in Belgrade.
He is also scheduled to play in Nur-Sultan (Astana Open). The main draw will start on the 3rd of October.
Carlos Alcaraz in 2022
Currently ranked no.1, the Spaniard played his last match on the 18th of September when he overcame world no.74 Soon-Woo Kwon 6-4 7-6(1) in the Rubber 2 of the Davis Cup (draw).
This year the Spaniard has managed to achieve an overall 52-10 match record. The Spaniard conquered 5 titles in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, Miami, Barcelona, Madrid and U.S. Open. Carlos reached the final in Hamburg and in Umag.
Alcaraz is scheduled to compete next in Nur-Sultan (Astana Open). He will commence the tournament from the main draw on the 3rd of October.
Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz played each other only once. Their current record is 1-0 for Alcaraz. When they played, Carlos Alcaraz won 6-7(5) 7-5 7-6(5) in the semifinal in Madrid (Mutua Madrid Open) on the 7th of May 2022.

Daniil Medvedev in 2022
Now the world no.4, Medvedev played his last match on the 22nd of September when he lost to world no.284 Stan Wawrinka 6-4 6-7(7) 6-3 in the 2nd round in Metz (draw).
Presently, during this year the Russian has a 37-14 record. The Russian clinched 1 title in Los Cabos. The Russian was the runner-up at the Australian Open, in Hertogenbosch and in Halle.
Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2022
Currently the world no.6, Tsitsipas played his last match on the 23rd of September when he defeated world no.17 Diego Schwartzman 6-2 6-1 in the round robin in the Laver Cup (draw).
Until now, during this year Tsitsipas has a 47-17 win-loss record. Stefanos conquered 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and Mallorca. Stefanos was the finalist in Rotterdam, in Rome and in Cincinnati.
Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas played each other 10 times. The head to head is 7-3 for Medvedev. Before, the last time they played each other, Stefanos Tsitsipas won 7-6(6) 3-6 6-3 in the semifinal in Cincinnati (Western & Southern Open) on the 20th of August 2022.
