Daniil Medvedev did not have a great time on Thursday in Metz when he was facing Stan Wawrinka. The Russian player had all the intentions of defending his title in France but that did not happen after he lost to the 3 times slam champion.
There was a rather weird episode in the third set when Medvedev lost his cool and he smashed his racket on the court. The former world number 1 did not like the boos from the crowd to provoke them. From the video, it seems that he called them monkeys.
