Stefanos Tsitsipas was among the huge army of tennis players who were inspired by Roger Federer. The Swiss Maestro announced his retirement last week to probably play his last tournament at the upcoming Laver Cup.
Stefanos did not miss the chance to go early to London to practice with Roger. Here is a nice video of them sharing the court.

Now the world no.6, Stefanos played his last match on the 29th of August when he capitulated to world no.75 Daniel Elahi Galan Riveros 6-0 6-1 3-6 7-5 in the 1st round of the U.S. Open (draw).
This year Tsitsipas has achieved a 46-17 match record. Tsitsipas clinched 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and Mallorca. Tsitsipas got to the final in Rotterdam, in Rome and in Cincinnati.
Tsitsipas will compete next in Nur-Sultan (Astana Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw on the 3rd of October.
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Roger Federer squared off 4 times. Their actual record is 2-2. The last time they squared off, Stefanos Tsitsipas won 6-3 6-4 in the semifinal in London (Nitto ATP Finals) in November 2019.
