Winning Wimbledon definitely brings some benefits. One of these is meeting your President.
Petra Kvitova, the 2014 Wimbledon titlist, was invited to meet the Czech Republic President Milos Zeman. Petra was definitely the guest of honor, but also Zahlavova-Strycova and Koukalova were invited after reaching the quarters at the Championships.
This honor was also a sort of response to critics that attacked Kvitova for bringing her residency to Monte-Carlo for tax reasons.
Soon after Petra tweeted ”Had a great day today. Good practice this morning and then I went to Prague to meet the Czech president :)”.
