Carlos Alcaraz won an extremely tiring US Open title last week. While it was legit I that Carlito would have taken some time to rest, the Spanish sensation decided to play the Davis Cup in Valencia this week.
Carlito is already in Valencia where he received a good welcome with the presence of tennis legend David Ferrer.

Ranked world no.1, the Spaniard played his last match on the 11th of September when he beat world no.2 Casper Ruud 6-4 2-6 7-6(1) 6-3 in the final of the U.S. Open to win his 6th career title.
At the moment, during this season the Spaniard has achieved a composed 51-9 win-loss record. Carlos clinched 5 titles in 2022 in Rio de Janeiro, in Miami, in Barcelona, in Madrid and at the U.S. Open. Carlos was the runner-up in Hamburg and in Umag.
Alcaraz has scheduled to play next in Nur-Sultan (Astana Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw on the 3rd of October.
