Frances Tiafoe and Carlos Alcaraz played a fantastic US Open semifinal on Friday. Eventually, it was the young Spanish player to win the contest after more than 4 hours. Tiafoe was extremely disappointed after the match struggling to fight tears during the following on-court interview.
Frances commented: “I gave everything I had. Too good from Carlos tonight. I gave it everything I had for the last two weeks. I came here wanting to win the US Open and I feel I let you guys down.”
