Nicole Vaidisova was one of the biggest names on the WTA Circuit. The hot Czech won her maiden tournament in 2004 at the age of 15 (!!!). Nicole broke in the top10 when she was just 17 to retire from the circuit at the age of 20 (!!!).
Vaidisova got married to Radek Stepanek to then divorce last year.
The comeback
There have been rumors around about her comeback. At the beginning she has firmly denied she was trying to get back to pro tennis, but now Nicole posted on Istagram that she is closer to get back
“These last couple weeks Im finally able to serve with less pain then i have in over 3 years, it makes me hopeful and happy to see progress after struggling the last couple years with repeated surgeries, rehabs and setbacks..it’s one step at a time but finally getting a step closer.. “
At 25-year-old, tennis life is still ripe for success. Let’s wait and see.
