Matteo Berrettini and Ajla Tomljanovic used to date for more than 2 years to be one of the most intriguing “tennis couples.” It seemed that everything was fine between them until they shocked their fans after splitting early in the year.
During a recent interview, Matteo confirmed that he is indeed single and he admitted that in a certain way that is not entirely bad. The handsome Italian player has more time to spend with his team and family enjoying a completely different life from the one he used to do in the last few years.
Matteo commented:
“Yeah, I’m single but it’s not like something that I am looking for, like, it’s not that I’m waking up and have to find love.
It’s just something that is happening, it’s good for me; if it doesn’t, it’s another day, you know. But, yeah, overall, I’m spending more time with my team, I spent a lot of time with my family when I was injured, and I enjoyed a different kind of life a little bit.”
