Forbes: Federer is the most financially valuable athlete with Tiger Woods

Roger Federer is almost 33-year-old, but apparently that is not deteriorating his brand value.

According to Forbes the Swiss Maestro is the most financially valuable athlete with his friend Tiger Woods. Both have earned 46 million USD each in 2013 just using their name. Apparently according to data from Danish lender Eksperten the minimum sum that an event organizer needs to allocate to have Roger Federer is $1 million just for his presence.

Federer doesn’t need to win any major

According to Hans-Willy Brockes, ahead of ESB “Consistency for so many years has benefitted Federer’s brand value greatly. In his case, it doesn’t even matter if he wins another big tournament again,”

There are other 2 tennis players that are part of the top10: Sharapova (ranked 4 with 23 million) and Na Li (ranked 8th with 15 million).

No bad!
