Simona Halep had the bad news that her beloved coach Darren Cahill decided to take 1 year off in 2019 to spend some time with his family.
Simona and Darren are very close, and the Romanian sensation decided not to replace him at least in the very first part of the upcoming season.

“I thought about it, and I will not have a coach in the following period. I want to go to some tournaments on my own, and we’ll see how that goes.”
