Nadal wins the ESPY award for the best male tennis player

Another day, another award for Rafael Nadal.

The Mallorcan was nominated in the category of the best male tennis player for the 10th consecutive year to win the award for the 2nd year (the first was 2011).

Rafa was nominated with Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.  This title was definitely well deserved after a triumphant 2013.

Nadal was also nominated as the Best International Athlete with Cristiano Ronaldo, Inbee Park and Vettel, but eventually it was Ronaldo to win it.

After the ceremony Rafa tweeted “Very happy for this award! Thanks to @ESPYS and to all of you for always supporting me.”
