Nick Kyrgios shares his feelings about facing his dear friend Thanasi Kokkinakis in the first round of the US Open

Nick Kyrgios And Thanasi Kokkinakis

Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis are great friends and double partners. Unfortunately, they had to clash against each other in the first round of the US Open. It was Nick to win the match in straight sets but during the press conference that followed the encounter, he admitted he was feeling rather uncomfortable.

“Probably one of the most uncomfortable matches I’ve played in my career. From the get-go, I was trying to block out his body and just play the tennis ball. I was really trying not to look at him at all. I felt like that kind of helped me.”
