Stefanos Tsitsipas is about to start his campaign at the US Open. This is going to be a very important major for the Greek sensation who has the opportunity to become the world number 1 if he reaches the final (depending on the results of the other players).

Ranked world no.5, Stefanos played his last match on the 21st of August when he was overcome by world no.29 Borna Coric 7-6(0) 6-2 in the final in Cincinnati (draw).
At present, during this year Stefanos has managed to achieve an overall 46-16 win-loss record. The Greek conquered 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and in Mallorca. Tsitsipas was the runner-up in Rotterdam, in Rome and in Cincinnati.
Tsitsipas will play next in U.S. Open (U.S. Open). He will start from the main draw on the 29th of August.
Ben Shelton in 2022
Currently the world no.171 (career-high), the American played his last match on the 18th of August when he surrendered to world no.9 Cameron Norrie 6-0 6-2 in the 3rd round in Cincinnati (draw).
Until now, during this year Shelton has managed to achieve a compiled 19-7 record. Ben Shelton’s best result of this season was reaching the final in the Rome Challenger and the Chicago Challenger.
Shelton has scheduled to compete next in U.S. Open (U.S. Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw on the 29th of August thanks to a wild card.
