Serena Williams will clash against Danka Kovinic on Monday in the first round of what will probably be her last US Open after she announced her imminent retirement. Serena didn’t look in great form in the last few months after she was coming back from a long hiatus.
The American legend was caught in distress after she finished her practice session on Thursday. It is not clear if her struggle was emotional or physical but it was not looking good. These are some of the pictures.

Currently the world no.608, the American played her last match on the 16th of August when she lost to world no.11 Emma Raducanu 6-4 6-0 in the 1st round in Cincinnati (draw).
Presently, during this year Serena achieved a 1-3 win-loss record.
Serena Williams has scheduled to play next in U.S. Open (U.S. Open). She will start the tournament from the main draw on the 29th of August thanks to a special ranking.
Danka Kovinic in 2022
WL Ranked no.80, Kovinic played her last match on the 21st of August when she surrendered to world no.104 Magdalena Frech 7-6(3) 6-2 in the 1st round in Granby (draw).
Currently, during this year the achieved an overall 17-14 match record. Kovinic conquered 1 title Wiesbaden.
