Novak Djokovic is getting better and better.
Once again the world no.1 was flawless in his performance in London. After defeating John Isner 6-4 6-3 in his first match, the Serb conceded few games to Sascha Zverev in the second.
The match
Nole and Sascha went toe to toe in the first set till the 8th game (4-4). Then Djokovic took off as he stayed solid while Zverev’s focus was going from bad to worse. Eventually, the Serbian won the encounter in just 76 minutes 6-4 6-1.
Contrary to the first match, Nole conceded 2 break points, but again he didn’t concede any service game.
He made a lot of unforced errors. DJOKOVIC
After the match, Nole conceded that it wasn’t an amazing entertainment to say
“I don’t think it was breathtaking tennis but a win is a win. I played well midway through the second set and started to swing through the ball.
I had not served that well, but he made a lot of unforced errors which helped me to win.”
Novak will face Marin Cilic in the 3rd match while Sascha will take on his friend John Isner.
