Fantastic news for the tennis fans in New Zealand as Denis Shapovalov has confirmed that he will be back to compete in Auckland.
The upcoming Canadian as already competed in New Zealand this year where he lost in the 2nd round to Juan Martin Del Potro 6-2 6-4.
Why Shapovalov is so happy to be back
Denis commented:
“It’s is a great tournament and I’m looking forward to being back.
The fans were incredible last year and it’s so much fun – I can’t wait to get back on to centre court.
Auckland is awesome. I jumped off the Sky Tower when I was there last time. I’m not sure what I’ll do on this visit but I’m sure I’ll find something fun.”
The tournament will take place from the 5th to the 12th of January.
