Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alex De Minaur are the top seeds in Milan and the absolute stars of the competition as both players reached the final without losing a single match.
Tsitsipas
After a smooth run in the group stage when the Greek conceded just 1 set in 3 matches, the world no.15 had to work hard in the semifinal against the 2017 Next Gen runner-up Andrei Rublev. After exchanging the first 4 sets, Stefanos and Andrei ended up playing the decisive tiebreak. Â Eventually, it was the Greek to find the solution to win the match 4-3 (3) 3-4 (5) 4-0 2-4 4-3 (2).
After the match, Stefanos commented
“You feel great after winning such matches because there has been a lot of effort. We have been hours on the court fighting, wanting that win. The one that gets it at the end, I think, is the happiest person on earth. I’m very satisfied.”

Alex had a very similar run to Stefanos’. After winning all matches t group stage level, he had to battle hard in the semifinal against Jamie Munar to win only in 5 sets 3-4 (5) 4-1 4-1 3-4 (4) 4-2.
The Final
Stefanos and Alex are going to play on Saturday at 9 pm. The head to head is 2-0 for the Greek that has recently defeated the Australian in October in the Tokyo 2nd round 6-3 5-7 6-1.
