Sascha Zverev is about to start his campaign, and his latest interview will not be unnoticed.
When asked about his idea about the towel rack and the fact that it’s the “job of the ballboys” to give the towels to the players, he replied
“I never take my towel ever, particularly indoor events. You guys should ask Next Gen guys who take a towel. Tiafoe takes it every point. Tsitsipas takes it after an ace or double fault. He says ball boy’s job is to take towels but I think they’re there to retrieve balls.”
Tsitspas has recently criticized the rule saying that it is distracting getting the towels from the racks.
This is not the first time that Sascha and Stefanos disagree especially after the Greek defeated Sascha in Toronto last August (see article).
The congratulations
However, it is also important to stress the fact that recently Sascha congratulated Tsitsipas and Shapovalov for their season.
