Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrei Rublev are going to clash in the semifinal in Milan on Friday at 9 pm.

Tsitsipas

Stefanos had a fantastic run in the stage group with the wins over Jaume Munar 4-3 (5) 4-3 (3) 3-4 (4) 4-2, Frances Tiafoe, 4-3 (3) 4-3 (5) 4-2, and Hubert Hurkacz 4-1 4-3 (2) 4-1.  The Greek is in top form and the absolute favorite to win this tournament.

Rublev

Ranked no.68, Andrei had a much more complicated run in the group stage. In fact, after beating Taylor Fritz 4-2 1-4 3-4 (4) 4-3 (2) 4-2 and Liam Caruana 4-3 (7) 4-1 4-2, he had to bow to Alex De Minaur 4-1 3-4 (5) 4-1 4-2.

I am one of the main columnists for Tennistonic.com. I have been writing about tennis for the last 4 years. My passion for tennis dates back since the days of the Marat Safin challenging Roger Federer. I am a decent club player, but I have never reached those heights 🙂 Interested in the nextgen. Favorite players: Tsitsipas, Shapovalov, Tiafoe, De Minaur, and Coric. Curious to see what it is going to be with Kyrgios even if I am starting to think that he is a lost cause.
