Daniil Medvedev is the deserving world number 1 and he is also a grand slam champion after he conquered the US Open in 2021. Unfortunately, like some other sports stars, the Russian player has to often deal with irrational haters. A curious episode happened when some so-called tennis fans were chanting “loser” to Daniil after he lost to an in-form Nick Kyrgios in Montreal. Medvedev didn’t like it and he confronted the people who were insulting him.
This is the video.
God, how awful can fans be when they chant ‘loser’ to a tennis player after a tough battle on the court 👎🏻
