Naomi Osaka will clash against Qinwen Zheng in her opening match in San Jose. After 3 years, the former world number 1 will not have Wim Fissette. The Belgian coach has recently parted ways with Naomi, who will be coached again by her father, Leonard Francois. This is not the first time that Osaka has been coached by her father since it was Leanard Francois to mentor the Japanese sensation at the beginning of her career.
It is still not clear who will be Naomi’s next coach.
