The Greek sensation is expected to be back to competitions only from the 8th of August in Montreal. In the meantime, the world number 4 is training in the South of France with his brother Petros and father Apostolos.

At the moment ranked no.4, Tsitsipas played his last match on the 2nd of July when he capitulated to world no.47 Nick Kyrgios 6-7(2) 6-4 6-3 7-6(7) in the 3rd round in Wimbledon (draw).
At the moment, during this season Tsitsipas achieved a composed 42-14 record. Tsitsipas has won 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and in Mallorca. The Greek was the runner-up in Rotterdam and in Rome.

Ranked world no.780, the Greek played his last match on the 17th of July when he capitulated to world no.282 Luca Van Assche 6-0 6-1 in the qualifications of the Trieste Challenger (draw).
