Fognini fined $27.500 for unsportsmanlike conduct in Wimbledon: I do not care

The Italian had again questionable behavior on court

Fabio Fognini is not the most popular player in the circuit and he is leaving his mark as “bad boy” all over the world. London is just another stop.

The controversial Italian has been fined $27,500 from the Wimbledon organization for unsportsmanlike conduct during the first round.

Fognini commented “At the moment I don’t care about that. I’m focused on the tournament.”. Then he added he is aware that he is often under scrutiny “I am kept track of, the way Gulbis is, because we’re two hotheads,” 

The fine will be deducted from his prize money as Fabio has already earned $120.000ust for reaching the 3rd round. Next he will play Anderson for a place in the fourth round.
