As forecasted, the ATP had to completely revise the last part of the 2022 calendar to cancel all the events in Russia and China. The ATP 250 that had to be played in Moscow will be replaced by an ATP250 that will be played in Naples (Italy).

All the tournaments in China have been canceled because of the actual situation with Covid-19.

The following tournaments have been introduced with a 1-year license.

  • Week 38 (19-25 Sep): San Diego, USA (Hard)
  • Week 39 (26 Sep-2 Oct): Seoul, KOR (Hard); Tel Aviv, ISR (Indoor Hard)
  • Week 41 (10-16 Oct): Florence, ITA (Indoor Hard); Gijon, ESP (Indoor Hard)
  • Week 42 (17-23 Oct): Naples, ITA (Hard)

Also, the Astana Open in Nur-Sultan, which is an ATP 250 event, will become an ATP500. It will be placed alongside the ATP500 in Tokyo.
