2013 Wimbledon runner-up, Sabine Lisicki had to split from Martina Hingis just before the start of the Championship.
According to Sabine, Martina wasn’t able to pursue her “coaching duties” as she was focused more on her doubles comeback. In addition they had different views about Sabine’s tennis.
Sabine and Martina have already played doubles 4 times recently winning the tournament in Miami. Lisicki said the split came after a mutual agreement and they may still play doubles together “I wish her the best of luck, and maybe we are playing doubles together here and there,’’
Hingis will play the doubles with Zvonareva at the Championships after getting a wildcard from the organization.
