Lorenzo Musetti will start his campaign in Hamburg against Dusan Lajovic on Monday. This seems to be the most interesting match of the day that was curiously not placed on the Center Court. Instead, Lorenzo and Dusan will face off on court M1 as the 3rd match of the day (the estimated start is 4 p.m.)

Carlos Alcaraz is seeded number 1 and he has the opportunity to become the new world number 4 if he wins the tournament. Carlito is opposed to fellow countryman Nicola Kuhn in the first round. The Spanish teenager was not scheduled to play on Monday. He will be in action most probably on Tuesday.

Lorenzo Musetti in 2022
Now ranked no.62, Musetti played his last match on the 11th of July when he surrendered to world no.69 Laslo Djere 6-3 7-5 in the 1st round in Bastad (draw).
At the moment, during this season Lorenzo has managed to achieve a compiled 21-17 win-loss record. This year, The Italian lifted the trophy in the Forli 6 Challenger.
Dusan Lajovic in 2022
LLLLWWLWLL At the moment ranked no.75, Lajovic played his last match on the 8th of July when he lost to world no.72 Thiago Moura Monteiro 6-4 6-7(2) 6-4 in the quarter of the Salzburg Challenger (draw).
Presently, during this year Dusan has managed to achieve a 17-20 record. Dusan Lajovic’s most significant result of the current year was getting to the semifinal in the Parma Challenger.
Lorenzo Musetti and Dusan Lajovic have never clashed against each other.
Carlos Alcaraz in 2022

Nicola Kuhn in 2022
Now ranked no.259, Nicola played his last match on the 28th of June when he lost to world no.49 Brandon Nakashima 6-3 6-7(1) 6-3 6-2 in the 1st round in Wimbledon (draw).
Presently, during this year Kuhn has a 11-14 win-loss record.
Carlos Alcaraz and Nicola Kuhn have never played each other till now on the main tour.
