Naomi Osaka started playing tennis when she was very young with her sister Mari. Both sisters were groomed from an early age by their father, just like Richard Williams used to do with his daughters Serena and Venus.

Currently ranked no.40, Osaka played her last match on the 23^rd of May when she was defeated by world no.22 Amanda Anisimova 7-5 6-4 in the 1^st round of the French Open (draw).

Presently, during this year the Japanese has managed to achieve a 12-5 match record. Naomi Osaka’s most significant performance of the current season was getting to the final in Miami.

Rafael Nadal in 2022

Ranked world no.3, Rafael played his last match on the 6^th of July when he defeated world no.13 Taylor Fritz 3-6 7-5 3-6 7-5 7-6(4) in the quarter in Wimbledon (draw).

This season Nadal has achieved a compiled 35-3 match record. The Spaniard clinched 4 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, at the Australian Open, in Acapulco and at the French Open. Nadal was the runner-up in Indian Wells.
