A great Caroline Wozniacki managed to defeat Camila Giorgi to reach the semifinals in Eastbourne.
After her sudden split with McIlroy, Caroline seems more motivated to put her energies in tennis. The Dane is very fit and she really wants to crawl back in the rankings (now she is ranked no.16).
The former world no.1 had to dig dip against the Italian that won the opening set at the tie break. Wozniacki bounced back strongly in the second set to win the decisive break in the 9th game (5-4). Camila imploded in the decider to concede her serve twice and lose 6-7 (7) 6-4 6-2. Match Stats
