The world no.26 is sliding in the rankings and he will lose some more points in the next few weeks. Nicolas is not fit to play because of an injury to his foot.
The announcement was given by the Wimbledon organization that said the Vasek Pospisil will replace him in the seeding.
Nico has already retired from the French Open. In Wimbledon 2013 he has reached the 3rd round after losing to Janowicz.
