Novak Djokovic seems to be unbeatable again when playing slams. The former world number 1 has just won his 21st major and he is definitely the favorite to conquer the upcoming US Open and the following slams.
However, according to former British No 1 John Lloyd and Wimbledon champion Pat Cash, some players from the new generation can stop him.
Lloyd commented: “Definitely, I would pick him [Jannik Sinner] but the one I love the most is Alcaraz. Even though he didn’t play as well, perhaps against Sinner. But he’ll learn and I think he’ll win 10-plus Grand Slams. He’s that good.”
Cash added that Casper Ruud and probably also Rune could pose a threat to comment:
“I think there’s a couple of Scandinavians, Ruud and Rune. They are also very good. Sinner of course is a great player. And Jack Draper, I think he’s going to do really well.”
Cash also added that Jack Draper could also shine in the near future.
