Stefanos Tsitsipas is still chasing the 1st ATP title of his very young career. The Greek reached the semifinal in Stockholm after winning a couple of good matches against John Millman (6-4 3-6 6-3) and Philipp Kohlschreiber (6-3 7-6). Stefanos impressed with his mental strength on both occasions.

Fognini
Seeded no.2, the Italian is having the best year of his career after he won the titles in Sao Paulo, Bastad, and Los Cabos. Fognini reached the last 4 in Stockholm after beating Lukas Lacko 6-4 6-4 and following the withdrawal of Hyeon Chung in the quarters while the Italian was leading 7-5 2-1.

The favorite
Impossible to pick a favorite. Probably Tsitsipas may have a little edge since he has played 2 (very) competitive matches while Fognini had a much easier run. However, the Italian could use his super experience in getting to the final.
