‘I defedend you when it mattered,’ – Kyrgios, Djokovic have funny exchange ahead their Wimbledon final

There was a lovely exchange between Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic before their Wimbeldon final

Djokovic And Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic will play against each other in the Wimbledon final on Sunday. Novak and Nick didn’t have a great relationship for the last few years, with the Australian player often attacking Nole for whatever reason.

However, Kyrgios was extremely supportive of the former world no.1 when Djokovic was deported from Australia at the beginning of the year. During a recent press conference, Kyrgios revealed that there is a bit of bromance between him and Djokovic.

There is a lovely video going around with Novak and Nick having a nice exchange during Djokovic’s training as follows:

Djokovic: “It took you five years to say something nice about me. [laughing]”

Kyrgios: “But I defended you when it mattered!

Djokovic: “You did, I appreciate that.”
