Rafael Nadal and Taylor Harry Fritz are playing for a place in the Wimbledon semifinal. After Nadal had a great start (2-0) he appeared to be struggling from a physical point of view to lose his first set 6-3.
About his abdominal injury
Rafa was indeed grabbing his stomach, probably struggling with an abdominal injury.
The King of Clay was seen wearing a big plaster on his abdomen during his last match. He refused to comment on his injury during the press conference that followed his 4th round match.
“I am a little bit tired of talking about my body. It’s not about that I don’t want to answer your question, but in the same time, sometimes I am tired of myself, all the issues that I am having.
I prefer not to talk about that now. Sorry for that. But I am in the middle of the tournament and I have to keep going, no? All respect for the rest of the opponents. I am just trying my best every single day.”
