Rafael Nadal won a relatively easy match in Wimbledon on Saturday after playing a great match against Lorenzo Sonego. The Italian player has fantastic tennis. However, many believe that his delayed grunts should be called a hindrance.

Nadal vs. the grunt

Rafa was also not happy with Sonego’s grunts and during the match, he called him at the net to express his dissatisfaction during the 3rd set. Lorenzo didn’t take it nicely. After the match, during the on-court interview, Nadal explained what happened saying that he probably made a mistake.

“From the bottom of my heart I didn’t mean it in a negative way,” said Rafa.

“I feel very sorry if I bothered him. I just wanted to tell him something, but I did it in a nice way and now I feel very bad if I really bothered him so I feel very sorry for that.

I was talking just now to him, and I’m going to talk to him. It’s not a problem I think at all.”
