Camila Giorgi ends a fantastic week in Linz after winning her 2nd career title in style.
The Italian dropped only 1 set in the entire week and her “easiest” match was the final after she defeated the world no. 119 Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-3 6-1 in just 59 minutes.
This is Camila’s 2nd career title after she won ‘s-Hertogenbosch in 2015. Camila is projected to go 4 places in the rankings on Monday to be the new world no.28 (career high).
This performance will help the Italian to possibly be seeded at the Australian Open.
