Iga Swiatek is not only the best WTA player in the world, but she is also a wonderful human being. The world number 1 has just announced that she will be part of an important exhibition to help Ukraine. The event will have the presence of Agnieszka Radwanska, Elina Svitolina, Sergiy Stakhovsky and Martyn Pawelski. Svitolina will be the umpire as she is currently pregnant.

“For months I have been working with my team on a charity initiative for Ukraine to support those who suffer because of the war. Together with Agnieszka Radwańska, Elina Svitolina, Sergiy Stakhovsky and Martyn Pawelski, we will meet in Krakow on 23rd July during a special event. We will play a mixed doubles exhibition match.
Additionally, Agnieszka and I will play one set of singles. Both matches will be umpired by Elina Svitolina. There will also be a special guest representing Ukraine – former football player Andriy Shevchenko.
Total proceeds from the event will be donated to the support of children and teenagers affected by the war in Ukraine. The sale of the first pool of 10 thousand tickets for the event will start tomorrow – on Thursday at 6 PM (GMT+2).

Swiatek in Wimbledon, ranking, and results in 2022
Ranked world no.1, Iga owns a compiled 45-3 match record in 2022. Iga is now having a run in Wimbledon where she toppled Jana Fett 6-0 6-3.
Iga Swiatek will fight against the world no.138 Lesley Kerkhove in the 2nd round. They have never competed against each other up to now in top competitions.
Iga has won 6 titles in 2022 in Doha, in Indian Wells, in Miami, in Stuttgart, in Rome and at the French Open.

Elina Svitolina in 2022
LWLWLLWLWW Currently the world no.40, Svitolina played her last match on the 24th of March when she capitulated to world no.121 Heather Watson 4-6 6-3 7-6(4) in the 2nd round in Miami (draw).
Currently, during this year Elina achieved a 5-8 record.
Iga Swiatek and Elina Svitolina fought against each other just once. Their head to head is 1-0 for Swiatek. When they played, Iga Swiatek won 6-2 7-5 in the quarter in Rome (Internazionali BNL d’Italia) in May 2021.
