Novak Djokovic wins the title in Shanghai after having a perfect week without dropping a set for the entire event.
The Serb will be ranked no.2 after his recent run and he has a great shot at finishing the year as the deserving world no.1

Nole was opposed to Borna Coric that even if he showed a great form in the semifinal after dispatching Federer 6-4 6-4, he had no chances against Djokovic for 1 simple reason: they have the same baseline game, but Nole plays that game better.
Djokovic conceded just 9 points in total on his serve and therefore it was enough for the former world no.1 to break him once per set and win 6-3 6-4.
This is Nole’s 72nd career title and the 4th of this great season after Wimbledon, Cincinnati, and the US Open. This is also the 4th time that Djokovic wins Shanghai after 2012, 2013, and 2015.
