Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas ended up in a rather tricky half in Wimbledon. Both players fell in the lower part of the draw with the uncomfortable presence of the likes of Matteo Berrettini, Marin Cilic and Nick Kyrgios.
However, both Matteo Berrettini and Marin Cilic had to withdraw from the competition after testing positive for Covid.
Matteo Berrettini was replaced by Elias Ymer while Cilic was replaced by Nuno Borges.

This year the Greek has achieved a compiled 40-13 record. The Greek has won 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and in Mallorca. Stefanos reached the final in Rotterdam and in Rome.

Currently, during this year Matteo has a 18-6 record. The Italian clinched 2 titles in 2022 in Stuttgart and in London.
Marin Cilic in 2022
Currently the world no.17, Marin played his last match on the 18th of June when he lost to world no.31 Filip Krajinovic 6-3 6-3 in the semifinal in London (draw).
At present, during this year the Croatian has a 21-13 win-loss record. Marin Cilic’s most significant accomplishment of the current season was reaching the semifinal in Adelaide, at the French Open and London.
Matteo Berrettini and Marin Cilic have never played each other so far in top competitions.
