Jannik Sinner has been extremely active in building up a proper coaching team after his sudden split with Riccardo Piatti. Jannik has hired Simone Vagnozzi as his main coach and he added top physio Jerome Bianchi to his team.
Jannik has recently added Darren Cahill to his coaching team before Wimbledon. Darren is a fantastic coach with huge experience with top players having worked with the likes of Andy Murray, Ana Ivanovic, Fernando Verdasco, Daniela Hantuchova, Sorana Cirstea, and Simona Halep. Darren has recently coached Amanda Anisimova before halting their partnership rather abruptly in Indian Wells.
During a recent interview, Darren explain why he was so happy to work with Jannik: “Jannik is one of the most interesting talents in tennis and so I have followed his evolution. And in person, he confirmed the idea I had formed. An extremely polite guy, hard worker and passionate about his work. Which makes everything easier.”
It is not clear what are the terms between Jannik and Darren. The Australian coach has started his collaboration only recently before Wimbledon and he will probably follow Sinner in person only during important events.
