Nadal: I hope my knee will be fine on grass

Rafael Nadal, the King of Clay, is now heading for the short grass season.

During the last few years Nadal hasn’t been very lucky in Wimbledon as he was struggling to adapt to the new conditions and his troublesome knee didn’t really help.

After winning the Roland Garros, Rafa took a plane for a 30 minutes flight to Halle where he will play the 250ATP event. After 1 hour he went straight to the practice court to test his conditions.

Nadal: I hope my knee will have a positive feeling

Talking to the press Rafa said he wonders how he will adapt to grass “I am healthy, that’s the most important thing. I hope my knee will have a positive feeling on grass because I felt my knee was better last year on the other surfaces.

Grass is always a little bit harder for me after injury. I played Wimbledon in 2012 with my knee injury and I never played another match after. Last year I tried but I was not ready enough to compete.

Let’s see how are my feelings this year because it’s a very important tournament.”

Nadal will play the first match against world no.85 Dustin Brown.
