Rafael Nadal wasn’t sure about playing in the Wimbledon this year after struggling so much with his foot injury at the recent French Open. Eventually, after successful treatment, the King of Clay decided to give it a shot. Nadal did not play any warm-up tournament before Wimbledon but opted to play an exhibition at the prestigious Hurlingham Club in London.
Nadal played his first match against Stan Wawrinka and he impressed the local fans with his form. The Spanish sensation won 6-2 6-3 in just 61 minutes playing fantastic tennis.

Ranked no.4, Rafael played his last match on the 5th of June when he defeated world no.5 Casper Ruud 6-3 6-3 6-0 in the final of the French Open to win his 92nd career title.
At present, during this year Rafael achieved a composed 30-3 record. Rafael clinched 4 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, at the Australian Open, in Acapulco and at the French Open. The Spaniard reached the final in Indian Wells.
