Nadal: I cried when Federer won the Roland Garros

Rafael Nadal on the court is an incredible warrior, outside the court he doesn’t have problems about talking about his emotions.

During an interview to “L’Equipe”, the world no.1 talked about is emotions when Roger won the French Open in 2009. That year Federer managed to “sneak in” taking advantage of the only time that Rafa has lost in Paris at the hands of Robin Soderling.

Nadal commented “I got emotional. He deserved to win that tournament, after so many finals and semi-finals. He deserved to win all four Grand Slams,”… what a great sportsman!

Rafa is a huge fan of Spain to confess “I also cried when Spain won the World Cup in South Africa,”

Now it’s time to stop being emotional as Novak Djokovic is waiting for him in the Roland Garros final, and that will not be easy!
