Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas are the top seeds in Wimbledon following the ban of the Russian players and the defection of Alexander Zverev (injury).
It’s interesting to note is that 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz will be the seed number 5 even if he has a very limited experience of playing on grass.

Ranked world no.3, Djokovic played his last match on the 31st of May when he lost to world no.4 Rafael Nadal 6-2 4-6 6-2 7-6(4) in the quarter of the French Open (draw).
At the moment, during this season Novak achieved a 16-5 win-loss record. Djokovic has won 1 title in Rome. The Serbian was the runner-up in Belgrade.
Rafael Nadal in 2022
At the moment ranked no.4, Rafael played his last match on the 5th of June when he beat world no.5 Casper Ruud 6-3 6-3 6-0 in the final of the French Open to win his 92nd career title.
During this season Nadal has an overall 30-3 record. Nadal clinched 4 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, at the Australian Open, in Acapulco and at the French Open. Rafael was the runner-up in Indian Wells.
Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal squared off 59 times. Their record is 30-29 for Djokovic. Previously, the last time they squared off, Rafael Nadal won 6-2 4-6 6-2 7-6(4) in the quarter in Paris (French Open) on the 31st of May 2022.

Casper Ruud in 2022
Ranked world no.5 (career-high), Ruud played his last match on the 14th of June when he was defeated by world no.180 Ryan Peniston 7-6(4) 7-6(2) in the 1st round in London (draw).
At the moment, during this season Ruud has a 30-11 win-loss record. Casper clinched 2 titles in 2022 in Buenos Aires and in Geneva. Casper was the runner-up in Miami and at the French Open.
Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2022
Now the world no.6, Stefanos played his last match on the 15th of June when he surrendered to world no.65 Nick Kyrgios 5-7 6-2 6-4 in the 2nd round in Halle (draw).
Presently, during this year Tsitsipas has a 36-13 record. This year, Stefanos conquered 1 tournament in Monte-Carlo. The Greek was the finalist in Rotterdam and in Rome.
Casper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas played each other 3 times. The head to head is 2-1 for Tsitsipas. Before, the last time they competed against each other, Stefanos Tsitsipas won 6-1 6-4 in the quarter in Toronto (Rogers Cup) in August 2021.
