Jannik Sinner keeps on changing his coaching team. Early in the season, the Italian sensation abruptly parted ways with Riccardo Piatti, who had been partnering with Jannik since his early teens. Jannik decided to hire Simone Vagnozzi as his new coach. However, it seems that he will try to partner also with Darren Cahill, who is expected to be his so-called “super coach.”
The 56-year-old has huge experience as a coach. He worked with the likes of Andy Murray, Ana Ivanovic, Fernando Verdasco, Daniela Hantuchova, Sorana Cirstea, and Simona Halep. Darren had recently a curious and very brief stint with Amanda Anisimova this year. The Australian was coaching the young American with good results until he abruptly dropped her right before Indian Wells, saying he had mental issues.
It will be very interesting to see how his relationship with Jannik Sinner will develop. As of now, there is no official statement from Jannik.
