Emma Raducanu is still trying to find her way on the main tour after winning her sensational US Open in 2021. Emma is still 19, and she has all the time to find the best way to get ready and compete with the very best.

Changing coaches and injuries

Unfortunately, the British sensation had a rather difficult time after the American major. Following her triumph in New York, Emma hit the headlines for splitting with her coach Andrew Richardson. Raducanu decided to partner with one of the best coaches on the WTA tour, Torben Beltz. However, that didn’t last much, and after a string of disappointing results, she decided to part ways with the German coach.

One of the reasons that Emma Raducanu has been struggling so much is that she keeps being injured. Recently, Emma could not play too much on grass right before Wimbledon after she got an abdominal injury in Nottingham.

Revolutionary training model

Emma is now assisted by the LTA, which is always ready to help British players. During a recent interview, Emma revealed that she has been using a “revolutionary training model.”

She commented:

“I am training like I have done for the last few months. I have someone to train with and even if I have a revolutionary training model, I don’t need to share how I train

, because that’s up to me, why should I tell my rivals how I train?”
