WIMBLEDON. Venus Williams gives bad news while Serena is ready to compete

Venus and Serena Williams have written the history of Wimbledon after winning 12 titles in singles in total (5 Venus and 7 Serena). Unfortunately, during a recent Q&A session on social media, Venus Williams (42) announced that she would not compete in Wimbledon this year, but she will watch the major on TV.

At 40 years of age and after being out of competition for one year, Serena Williams will try once again to conquer her elusive 24th Slam. Therefore, the American legend will play at SW19 in two weeks. Actually, Serena decided also to compete in a so-called warm-up event in Eastbourne to check her competitiveness.
