Naomi Osaka and Aryna Sabalenka are probably the most interesting upcoming players on the WTA tour right now and they both achieved a career-high rank.
Osaka
Naomi is having a great season after winning the Indian Wells and the Us Open. She has also backed up her slam title with 2 good runs in Tokyo (final) and in Beijing (semifinal). After last week, Naomi goes up 2 places to be the new world no.4 (career high). She doesn’t have many points to defend from now till the end of the season. Therefore she is expected to go for more.
