Emma Raducanu was more than keen to play as many tournaments as possible on grass this season before Wimbledon. Unfortunately, Emma was stopped by yet another injury. The British sensation was playing her first-round match in Nottingham when she was stopped by an abdominal injury.
Emma had bad news after she had a scan. She will have to miss Birmingham next week. There are still hopes for Emma to play in Eastbourne before Wimbledon since the injury is considered not serious. However, everything needs to be confirmed.
Raducanu had a scan last night in Nottingham that revealed nothing serious. Will spend several days off serious physical activity before returning to training.
