After reaching the semi-final at the recent Roland Garros, Sascha Zverev is the new ward number 2 in the live rankings right before Novak Djokovic. The French Open champion Rafael Nadal is now number 4.
Tsitsipas is no.6 in the live rankings, but he can improve his position if he conquers Stuttgart.

Ranked world no.2, the Russian played his last match on the 30th of May when he lost to world no.17 Marin Cilic 6-2 6-3 6-2 in the 4th round in French Open (draw).

Alexander Zverev in 2022
At the moment ranked no.3 (career-high), Alexander played his last match on the 3rd of June when he had to retire when playing against world no.4 Rafael Nadal in the semifinal and the scoreline was 7-6(8) 6-6 .
