Ranked no.8, Caroline is the defending champion in Beijing, but her current form is definitely not the same as last year’s. The Frenchwoman reached the 3rd round in Beijing after beating Yafan Wang in 3 sets and Polona Hercog 7-6 (2) 6-3.
